The Cellar
Our mission is to create authentic and distinctive wines, highlighting tradition and craftsmanship. We preserve ancient winemaking techniques, valuing the passionate work carried out in the cellar, where every phase is followed with dedication.
Our cellar is located in a 15th-century building within the walls of Maiolati Spontini, a place where tradition and innovation harmoniously meet. The stone and brick walls, along with the tuff caves of the medieval underground, testify to a long history of love for wine. Here, between the past and experimentation, wines are born that reflect our passion and commitment to quality. Each bottle encapsulates the essence of the territory and the desire to offer unique sensory experiences.

Our Wines
We believe in making wine that stays true to its origins—authentic, pure, and in tune with nature’s rhythm. Lees are essential for adding depth and structure, and we rely on spontaneous fermentation using the "pied de cuve" method to let nature take the lead. Every step of the process is driven by our commitment to creating wines that genuinely reflect the land, with no shortcuts or compromises.
To preserve the integrity of our products, we minimize the use of sulfites, ensuring more genuine and balanced wines. Our annual production amounts to 12,000 bottles, divided into five types. Each wine tells a story, the result of meticulous work and a deep passion for the art of winemaking.
The Vineyard
The vineyards of Cupramontana
Our vineyards extend over small plots, where each plant is cultivated with care to promote natural balance and soil fertility, without forcing production. Each vineyard has a unique microclimate that gives our wines distinctive characteristics and a strong personality.
We adopt a natural approach to viticulture, using only organic treatments based on copper and sulfur, avoiding pesticides or fungicides that could alter the ecosystem. Techniques like cyclic green manuring improve soil vitality, allowing the vines to fully express their potential.
We currently harvest four hectares of vineyards in Cupramontana, across the districts of San Marco, San Michele, and Brecciole—where each vine reflects the character of the land and the care we put into our work.

Welcometo the Marche
Maiolati Spontini is a charming hilltop village in the Marche region, located between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, in the heart of the Castles of Jesi. This area is renowned for the production of Verdicchio wine, thanks to an ideal microclimate that favors viticulture. The gentle hills, covered with vineyards and olive groves, offer a picturesque landscape.
In the 14th century, the Fraticelli settled in the castle of Maiolati, which became one of their main centers in the Marche until its destruction in 1428 by order of the inquisitor Saint James of the Marches. The village owes its name to the composer Gaspare Spontini, who was born here in 1774. Its strategic location between the sea and the mountains makes it a place rich in history, culture, and food and wine traditions.
